Diana Davidsson's Flame Princess Fairies

I enjoyed Raggi's visual retrospective of the Flame Princess.  Some really great stuff there.  But when kelvingreen mentioned in the comments that he would like to see a colored version of Diana Davidsson's Flame Princess Fairies, my pavlovian coloring conditioning kicked in.  Well, okay, he didn't say color, he said colour, which I think means he's from New Jersey.

So yeah, I colored it.  Sorry, Diana.  I have no idea where you are to ask permission.  If you are not amused, just let me know and I'll toss it in the trash.  But it's a great piece and I had fun colo-u-ring it.

  1. Green-haired glowing fairies?

    You sir, are a freak!

p.s. "Our neighbours to the south do not favour our favourite colours, flavours or spellings." was the way (I think I remember...) we were taught to remember the difference between english and 'merican spellings.

  2. @biopunk - In Texas schools, we were taught that the rebel 51st state was still at large - thought to be hiding somewhere north of the border, but as long as we kept on sending them macaroni and cheese, they wouldn't stray very far.

    ;p

  3. @Ark: Yes, our crippling national addiction to Kraft Dinner is also what cost us a seat United Nations Security Council and expedited our pull-out from Afghanistan. For the sake of safe sodium levels, please help us!

  6. Why is it that only the brits and canadians know how to spell colour correctly?

  7. And don't forget it's armour not armor.
In seriousness I use US spelling for D&D words because that is consistent with the game, so it is really armor; proper spelling for everything else. Great colouring.
