If Everyone Rolled Their Dice Off A Cliff . . .

Yes, apparently I would too. :)

These are most of my dice - except the ones sitting in game boxes, lost under couch cushions, or still stabbing painfully into the bottoms of my feet.

Whheeeeeee!

  2. Just so I understand, are we supposed to be posting quality, quantity, war stories related to our dice?

  4. Good grief Ark your table is going to collapse under all those dice.

  6. Whew! I'm glad someone has as many dice as me. I was getting worried I was some kind of obsessive freak or somethi...

    HEY! IS THAT AN ORIGINAL BLUE D10 DRAGON DICE DOWN THERE NEAR THE TRANSPARENT RED GAMESCIENCE D5?

    AND MAYBE THE YELLOW D12 WITH THE WHITE NUMBERING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PILE AND THERE'S ANOTHER GREEN ONE WITHOUT ANY NUMBERING (DOWN BY THE SUPER-POINTY LOOKING D4* ON THE RIGHT); ARE THEY ORIGINALS TOO?!?

    AND WHAT ABOUT THAT ROUGH LOOKING GREEN D8?

    THE ONE NEXT TO THE OTHER SUSPICIOUSLY OLD GREEN D10 WITH THE WHITE NUMBERING... WHERE DID THAT ONE COME FROM?

    WHAT IS IT'S STORY!?!

    *I'm not up on my Texan bylaws, but I'm pretty sure that particular one is classified as a "weapon" in most jurisdictions...

  7. If you push all those polka dot dice together and maybe add a few more of those kinds, your minis can play Twister.

  8. @Bard - Oh heck, I've lost more dice than this. ;)

    @The Happy Whisk - It's a veritable crap load!

    @Aaron E. Steele - Uhhh . . . hmmm. I thought it was about penis size. I might have misread Tim's initial post . . .

    @Sir Timothy Of Kent - KNEEL BEFORE ZOD.

    @Tim Shorts - You can see the table cracking over there on the right hand side!

    @biopunk - Holy crap Bio - that's over 30 years of dice. You expect me to remember where the heck they came from? lol. Ummmmm . . . I'll try.

    The first and last one's you are refering to - the blue and green ten siders - they are actaully a pair. Where the hell they are from is - um - hmm. They came in a game box. Maybe Top Secret. Maybe a GDW product like Twillight 2000 or Traveller 2300. I know I used them for all those games. Heck, they might have even been from Cyborg Commando. I actually had that game too.

    Yellow 12 with white. Uhhhhhhh. Dunno. I think it is the last surviving member of a set I bought seperately.

    The green 12 sider is an original something or other. I had the Holmes Box, as well as the Molday box - so I think it's from one of those. Same deal with the rough d8. And the yellow d4 too. That one is covered under Texas law. You need a liscence to carry it concealed, but if you wear it in a holster on your hip, you don't need any paperwork.

    Most of my pre-1988 dice were EATEN BY DOGS. I had severe issues with those frikkin dogs. They ate my dice AND my crayons. Bastard punk-ass dogs. There are still dice in this collection with teeth marks. Grrrrr. They certainly were not well behaved like Miss Wiggy. :)

    @The Happy Whisk - Twister! lol. You could use them for the backdrop of an episode of Laugh-in too. I love those dice.

  9. Thanks for the intel, Ark. I am determined to find out just how many colours there were to TSR's Dragon Dice line. I love how easily legible they are.

    I still have my original dice from the Moldvay Basic set (except the d8). D20 is worse for wear, but the rest are pretty decent.

    Cheers!
